faculty as Assistant Scientist, Division of Dental Biomaterials, Dept. of
Restorative Dentistry, Indiana University, School of Dentistry.
The Indiana University School of
Dentistry’s Department of Restorative Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time
non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant Scientist in the Division of
Dental Biomaterials. Responsibilities will
include the completion of materials testing protocols, the implementation of
laboratory policy and procedures, organization of research activities of
technicians, participation in the training of professional and graduate dental
students, and serving as the laboratory safety officers. Research responsibilities include the writing
of grants and research protocols, planning and executing original research in
the area of restorative dental materials, and presentation and publishing
research results in peer reviewed journals.
A PhD in Dental Materials and at least 6 months experience in a dental
materials laboratory is required. Applications will be accepted until the
position is filled. Dr. Jeffrey A. Platt will chair the Search & Screen
