ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-RESEARCH

Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and Biomaterials at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor-Research, a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position. Duties include developing and characterizing novel dental restorative materials; developing research projects through actively attracting external grants; mentoring research projects of undergraduate and graduate students/residents; supervising postdoctoral fellows and research associates, and other academic duties. The successful candidates must have a DDS/DMD or Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Materials, Organic Chemistry, or Materials Science plus two years postdoctoral research experience in dental materials, biomaterials or related fields.
